Many students know about LUCIE, but have never used it and don’t even want to look at it becasue it is so confusing. Below I have compiled a step by step approach to finding internships on LUCIE. It truly is simple, but I will say that there are not that many opportunities on the site and you have to go on at the right time.
The first step is to google Lehigh LUCIE or access the site through this link. Then you need to log in as a student using your Lehigh log in information.
You will be directed to the home page pictured below.
From here you can do a number of things, and I would recommend exploring these options. However, to find an internship you will want to select the Jobs drop down menu on the left side of the page.
From here you will select LUCIE Jobs, and it will direct you to a page where you can search for internships.
I typically use advanced search to narrow my options, but there is nothing wrong with using the simple search. I would recommend uploading your resume to the page so that when you go to apply for a position it will already be ready. Also it is very helpful if you fill out your profile becasue then LUCIE can recommend jobs for you.
Don’t be afraid to try this resource, but remember to keep an open mind when looking through the opportunities. To learn about more opportunities join the Bioengineering Facebook Group!
